I started to wander to find any strategy to ease this difficulties or promote spontanous healing. This was the first time I had an interest in treatments other than modern medicine.
I found a company which managed a hot spring cure.
The company was named as Nihon Ombas.
I decided to try it. I urged the true healing even if it demanded me bad times to overcome.
My AD lesions spreaded even more and covered almost all of my body excluding my head, face, part of my palms, insteps, and soles.
The inflammation got so worse that I had to bear dreadful pain which was caused by a single move or a stimulation of blowing wind.
Itch was also terrible. I couldn't help scratching incredibly; I always had deep(probably more than 1mm in depth) long scratch effects with jumping pain. Hot spring moistened my injured skin. I sometimes had to take a bath even in midnight to soothe down my pain and itch. Though I applied moisturizing ointment(petrolatum; white vaseline) every time after bathing, my skin got rough within 12 hours. Endless itch impeded my sleep so much. My daughter came to be AD as well; and it was also my job to console her crying from itch several times every night. I took a nap but it was not enough. Moreover, long-time bathing was a lot tiring itself. Moreover, I made effort to walk and play out with my daughter to raise the level of my metabolism. With hot spring cure, I found a new job and started to work as dermatologist twice a week. It was very delightful for me, but it made me more tired. Worrying about wasted my look, my mother and aunt occationaly came to help me.
In 6 months, my body changed to sweat more. That was a good sign. The metabolism seemed to be improved. Neverthless, itch was still awful. And my skin condition would not go better since then. (My face (and head) was an exeption. The face skin was almost clear as healthy people.) Bath water stored 24 hours pushed up the humidity of our condominium furthermore. Molds appeared and increased on the walls of bathroom, dressing room and northern room. I ran the ventilation fan of bathroom all days and nights, but that was only a drop in the bucket.
I began to perspire extraordinarily while sleeping. I felt so tired that I could hardly go out.
At about 14 months from start, I had to admit that I had failed in this hot spring cure. After the first day of the cramming school, which was in Tokyo and about nearly two hours from us, our daughter's AD extremely deteriorated and exudated widely. It took over 1 months to stop her exudation (by 3 times a day of hot spring cure). Then my palms began to have pustules, which repeatedly recovered as soon as I stop taking antibiotics. My immune system was not working. At last, I couldn't get up in one morning. I grabbed the phone by my pillow and called my mother for help. I couldn't do things by myself any more.
......One year and eight months have passed since the aggravation. |
